Web Hosting:
When it comes to creating your own website you’ll need a reliable hosting company. I was fortunate enough that a knowledgeable web-expert recommended Bluehost to me.
I’ve been using them since the beginning and my favorite part is their customer service. When I first started I had tons of questions and the live chat was so helpful. Plus being a widely used hosting company means you have lots of tutorials on YouTube to guide you.
Tools of the trade:
When it comes to designing I was introduced to Adobe and it’s products even in high school. In college we dove deeper into learning to use Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator. Then I later learned InDesign and Lightroom as a professional.
They are the industry standard and I’m so honored to have been approved as one of their affiliates.
I use Adobe daily, I mainly use Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat, I’m learning more about LightRoom too.
From vector art creation to photo correction and page layouts. I subscribe to Creative Cloud, a monthly membership that allows me to install and use a variety of apps, but they have other plans that allow you to only pick and choose single apps it that’s all you need.

Courses:
Constantly wanting to grow and learn has been so important for me in my life. When I explored entrepreneur life I saw the value in finding the right mentors. In the beginning, I consumed the free content from YouTube which is still my go-to resource. Later on, as I applied some of what I’ve learned from this content I found reliable mentors.
After seeing personal results from their initial free content, I’ve taken courses from the following:
Hilary Rushford for Instagram with Intention
Elke Clarke for Profit By Design Academy
Marie Forleo for B-School
Amy Porterfield for List-Builder’s lab
