I discovered that one of my best-selling wedding invitations was featured on the Woman Getting Married blog.
The helpful article shares affordable options for your wedding invitation and Zazzle, where I license my designs, is part of their top choices.
It’s true, a site like Zazzle allows you to use creations from professional designers and artists, like myself. I enjoy creating and sharing our work.
Since that article was posted, Zazzle has enhanced its options and capabilities.
I’ve always been impressed by what Zazzle has to offer, I wish I knew about it when I was getting married a few years ago.
Here are my favorite features on Zazzle.
1. Customizable wedding invitations and stationery
As mentioned above, you’re able to find professionally designed invitations that you simply populate with your names, wedding date, venue, and other information. You can start with your Save the date, then bridal shower, wedding invite and thank you cards. The capability to customize is reason alone that opens up a world of possibilities. I’ve worked with brides on a one-on-one basis and I know for a fact that every bride is different.
With Zazzle, you can personalize existing designs to fit your own theme and style. Choose from: Minimalist, Calligraphy, Rustic, Botanical chic, Boho, Destination Wedding, etc.
2. Paper Type Variety
As you saw from my round rustic wedding wood-cut invitation, this manufacturer goes as far as offering unique shapes. Round, square, rectangular, bracket, scalloped, ticket shapes and more.
Their paper types options and finishes also fit a wide range of budgets. From standard to premium grades. They use popular paper mills I’ve been a fan of for years, paper stocks from Neenah Inc., French Paper Company, Mohawk Fine Papers, and Fedrigoni.
I know, I know…maybe not everyone will geek over papers like me. But trust me when you need to make a good impression, paperweight, and texture can speak volumes.
3. Real Metallic Foils
Real metallic foil is a premium printing technique that adds a luxurious and elegant touch to wedding invitations, stationery, and other printed products.
I’m excited that Zazzle has released the use of real foil overlayed on colored photos and graphics. This puts them on the same caliber as sophisticated printers and stationery manufacturers.

3. Accessories for DIY projects, personalized wedding favors, and decor
Your budget will surely be stretched as you plan your special day. You’ll decide on the areas in which you might want to DIY (do it yourself).
Some DIY areas to consider will be around your wedding favors. Personalization shows your thoughtful nature and makes your event memorable. Zazzle has some tools you might not have known about.
How about using a personalized rubber stamp for gifts, giveaways, or tags?!
How about a customizable “Fun Facts” favor bag you can fill up with treats and tie up with twine?!
Welcome signage and seating charts become one of the last items you decide you need. The shipping options available, especially for US customers, gives you confidence that you’ll get your prints on time*. (*Select the shipping options that suits your need).
4. Instantly Generated QR codes
For the modern bride, a way to direct guests to a wedding website or other digital destination is important.
A QR code makes this easier and Zazzle offers a convenient and easy-to-use generator that allows customers to create a unique QR code for wedding products, such as invitations, save-the-dates, or wedding favors.
A QR code is a two-dimensional barcode that can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet camera, which then directs your guest to your wedding website, or social media page, that uses a URL. Give it a try with these examples (Make sure to test it out with your smart phone before you purchase – Tip: Don’t forget the www in front of your URL for the code to work).
5. Digital Downloads
The game changer. Digital downloads have finally arrived! This is quite exciting for me since I’ve had many customers ask for this feature. I’ve used my Etsy shop to deliver some designs but now this convenient option on Zazzle gives my main customer base the flexibility they’ve been looking for.
The advantage of digital downloads is that you can customize the design and wording to suit your needs and preferences, and you can instantly have the file. This saves on shipping and wait time for a physical product to arrive. You print the copies you need, which is ideal if you have a large guest list.
After purchasing, you will receive an email with a link to access the editable template that you can personalize and download. Learn more
If you select Instant Download only, no physical products will be shipped. Though if you need both print and digital, this option is also available.
*All digital downloads are for personal use only See details
You’ll be able to choose from high-resolution PNG, JPG, or PDF file formats for local printing or emailing. Being able to print at your local print house such as FedEx, Staples or home printer can save you time and money. Imagine being able to print more right away. I strongly suggest doing a test print before a mass run so you’re happy with the quality.
This option is available on certain product types and I’m happy to share that a lot of my wedding invitations can be purchased as digital downloads.
Overall, Zazzle offers a comprehensive and convenient solution for all your wedding-related needs, making it a great option for couples who want to create a memorable and personalized wedding experience. Whether you’re looking for invitations, favors, decor, or anything in between, Zazzle is a reliable and affordable choice that delivers high-quality products with a personal touch.
